Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) Therapy
The focus of this service is to reduce problem behavior and to increase communication, as well as functional skills in a one-to-one format. Each child will receive a functional behavior assessment, which will aid in the identification of problem behaviors, as well as a language and learning assessment. An individualized program will be developed, monitored, and updated by a highly-experienced behavior analyst. Data will be collected during every session, and data-based decisions will be made to ensure the most efficacious treatment plan is implemented. Parent involvement and parent training is an important component of this service. This service is provided in the client’s home or in the community.
Early Intensive Behavioral Intervention (EIBI)
(EIBI) originated with Lovaas’ seminal article in 1987 in which he used the principles of ABA to treat individuals with developmental disabilities that are typically under the age of five. Our EIBI services are a manualized treatment (i.e., treatment that has been mapped with a series of goals and techniques to be used during each session), which uses technologies and techniques of ABA. This service occurs in a one-to-one format and is intensive (ranges from 20-40 hours per week). This service is provided in the client’s home or in the community.
Parent and Teacher Training
ABA Squad also offers group and one-to-one parent and teacher training on a variety of essential topics in applied behavior analysis. These trainings can be offered in person or online and are designed to promote an understanding of ABA principles and effective strategies that can help in a home and classroom setting.
Our tutoring services are designed to promote optimal academic performance at any grade level. These services are beneficial for children who are belling behind academically, as well as those who want to prepare for the next year or an upcoming exam. Out tutoring services strive for children to reach their full potential in any subject area.
School Readiness Program
This service is designed to promote school readiness in preschool-aged children using ABA principles and technologies. It focuses on the acquisition of the skills necessary for your child to be ready for kindergarten using an ABA approach, such as group responding and attending skills.
